In the late winter of 2021 I had to have a heart valve transplant, and within a month or so I developed a disease called Sepsis. We had never heard of this before and the medical staff told my wife and eldest daughter that I may not survive this disease. I spent 23 days in the hospital total and when I went home I told my wife everything was going. We lived in a house on Old Hickory Lake in Brandywine Farms for 31 years and we no longer needed that amount of space, so the next day I called this man that had been recommended to me by friends. In the late winter of 2021 I had to have a heart valve transplant, and within a month or so I developed a disease called Sepsis. We had never heard of this before and the medical staff told my wife and eldest daughter that I may not survive this disease. I spent 23 days in the hospital total and when I went home I told my wife everything was going. We lived in a house on Old Hickory Lake in Brandywine Farms for 31 years and we no longer needed that amount of space, so the next day I called this man that had been recommended to me by friends. We were set to close on our house when the storm of December 2021 hit Nashville. We woke to pictures of a massive pine tree uprooted and laying on top of our house. We were at a loss as to what to do.

An amazing feat considering most neighborhoods had damage and contractors were away dealing with the Kentucky tornados. In addition, all this happened just before Christmas and New Years. In the late winter of 2021 I had to have a heart valve transplant, and within a month or so I developed a disease called Sepsis. We had never heard of this before and the medical staff told my wife and eldest daughter that I may not survive this disease. I spent 23 days in the hospital total and when I went home I told my wife everything was going. We lived in a house on Old Hickory Lake in Brandywine Farms for 31 years and we no longer needed that amount of space, so the next day I called this man that had been recommended to me by friends. He was referred to as the leader of a top sales team for Benchmark Realty, and had been used by my friends for the sale of similar properties. He came to visit the next day and we proceeded with a plan for the sale. I was very weak and confined to our living room, so all I could see was what needed to be done outside, which mostly revolved around the five old oak trees that always produced a lot of leaves, fallen sticks, and limbs. He cleaned all the sticks and limbs off the roof, blew out the gutters and valleys, and cleaned up the yard. He was very professional and personable during the entire process, and the sale came pretty quickly. Not only was he a top notch sales agent, he has now become a close friend. Eddie is a mixed breed. Part blood hound and part pit bull. Back in July I was searching for a home in TN from CT. Ii was not able to make any visits to TN to tour the homes I was interested in so Eddie would show them to me virtually as he walked through them. I as a rule never leave reviews but I feel Eddie deserves a huge shout out for his professionalism and going way beyond what any Realtor should have to do. My husband was critically injured in January of 2021 and was transferred to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. After being there with him over 2 months, I went home and met Eddie for the first time, listed an occupied rental property we owned in Nashville Tn with him, did a 30 second introduction with the tenant (who didn’t know our situation and that we were going to sell), gave Eddie the keys and literally drove away the next day to Atlanta to be with my husband again. He met with the buyers and contractors all while communicating with a very apprehensive tenant. It was a terrible way to leave Eddie but he assured me that he was willing and capable of navigating this unique situation for me and man oh man did he ever! It was sold within a week and closed within 24days for an incredible price. The document signing process was simple, secure and done online. He even came to our home to close where he met my husband for the first time. I did nothing but focus on my family. Eddie kept me completely informed every step of the way and I knew he genuinely cared about doing everything he could to help take the pressure off of me during this life changing event.
